It was D-Day! Last night at midnight, hundreds of thousands (millions?) of players around the world were waiting for the release of Blizzard's latest game: World of Warcraft Dragonflight. Unfortunately, not everything went according to plan and the rush caused many problems on the game servers.

As usual, the internet laughed at the situation and released a bunch of memes and jokes about it while waiting for the situation to be resolved.

This morning, things seem to be much better but it's obvious that bugs could still persist for a few weeks, while the World of Warcraft developers fix everything.
The number one problem seemed to be lag, as Blizzard may not have imagined that so many people would connect to the game! In recent years, players have been abandoning the game in favour of other games such as League of Legends or Fortnite...
Will players stay after the first month of Dragonflight's release? Not sure. Remember that the game costs 15 dollars a month which is expensive for a child or student budget, especially at a time when the best games are almost all free to play.
Anyway, It's good to see people connected to Azeroth, we're not used to it anymore!
Remember what we used to say back then: Patch day, no play!
