The year is 2008 as researchers from T University discover a crystal statue in the ruins of an Aztec civilization along with a series of characters. When decoded by a computer, these characters invoke the revival of a demon and an outbreak of demons within cyberspace.
At the start of the game in August, the protagonist, Asuka Miroku and his younger brother, Satoshi Miroku, are attending an exhibition of the Aztec culture at the Tokyo National Museum with two of Asuka's old friends from school, Keita Matsumoto and Sakurako Saotome. Suddenly, the crystal statue comes to life as the demon Moloch and abducts Satoshi, forcing Asuka and his friends into a battle to rescue him.

Un RPG táctico lanzado en la Sega Saturn. Es la tercera entrega de la serie Majin Tensei.Es el año 2008 y los investigadores de la Universidad T descubren una estatua de cristal en las ruinas de una civilización azteca junto con una serie de personajes. Al ser descifrados por un ordenador, estos caracteres invocan el renacimiento de un demonio y un brote de demonios dentro del ciberespacio.
Al comienzo del juego, en agosto, el protagonista, Asuka Miroku, y su hermano menor, Satoshi Miroku, asisten a una exposición de la cultura azteca en el Museo Nacional de Tokio con dos viejos amigos de Asuka del colegio, Keita Matsumoto y Sakurako Saotome. De repente, la estatua de cristal cobra vida como el demonio Moloch y secuestra a Satoshi, obligando a Asuka y a sus amigos a una batalla para rescatarlo.
