Cogs, Inc. has cut out the middle men and have overhauled many of their facilities to save on a few extra Cogbucks. New puzzle rooms, harder challenges, and much more await any Toon daring enough to step inside either entrance. Fresh off the production line comes something Toons have long feared: new Cogs. These Cog Supervisors are all business and aren't like their underlings. They will exploit any opening they see in Toon strategy and defense to send them straight back to the playground.
Toons looking for a fun and cosmetically rewarding challenging can continue to climb the corporate ladder within each Cog department and earn a nifty Suit upgrade! Note that no additional laff will be rewarded: this is purely for those who enjoy the grind and the reward of fashion.

Under New Management is Toontown Rewritten's major update that was released as the 4.0.0 update on May 24, 2024, during ToonFest: The Great Fanfair. It was announced on May 26, 2023, during ToonFest: Birthday Bash, with a breaking newscast from COG-TV announcing a management shakeup at Cogs, Incorporated. The update is comprised of four new sinister Supervisor Cogs, revamped Cog facilities, Version 2.0 Cog Disguises, and new cosmetics.Various observational analyses were conducted by the Cogs throughout February 2024 to monitor and evaluate the performance of the new Supervisor Cogs. Toontown community members were able to playtest the Under New Management update and provide feedback before public launch.
