Elden Ring takes place in the Lands Between, a fictional realm over which several demigods rule. It was previously ruled over by the immortal Queen Marika, who acted as keeper of the Elden Ring, a powerful force that manifested itself as the physical concept of order. When Marika shattered the Elden Ring and disappeared, her demigod children began fighting over pieces of the Ring in an event called The Shattering. Each demigod has a shard of the Ring called a Great Rune, which corrupts them with power. In the game, the player character is a Tarnished, one of a group of exiles from the Lands Between who are summoned back after the Shattering. The player must traverse the realm to repair the Elden Ring and become the Elden Lord.

Elden Ring is finally changing its PvP system!

Players have been waiting for it for 8 months! The long-awaited update will finally be available to everyone!

On the FromSoftware side, updates take time, but whenever they do, they are guaranteed to draw attention. Elden Ring is entitled to a total redesign of its PvP system with patch 1.07. A key aspect of the game that wasn't widely agreed upon when it was first launched. And if the numerous balancing attempts had been successful in making the game more enjoyable, the split of PvE and PvP scaling will give the mode new life.

PvP in Elden Ring separates from the overall game

Games with PvP have a focus on balancing that FromSoftware's most recent title has had trouble locating. And because this continued to be the case, it was decided to make a distinction between PvE and PvP in order to better address it. It will be simpler to balance one game mode without interfering with the other if the damage scaling between the two game types is separated.
