For several years, Activision has offered a series of Beta phases to allow players to test the new Call of Duty. Generally, PS4 and PS5 players have early access for a week before finally letting all players enjoy the Beta the following week.
However, this sequence of phases also includes access limits for players who have not pre-ordered the game. Thus, the last two or three days of each phase are accessible to all players, while the first days are reserved for players who have a code linked to the pre-order.
However, there is a solution: just pre-order Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 before the launch of the first Beta phase in order to take full advantage of it and cancel your pre-order at the end of it. Activision offers this solution within the framework of European legislation, in addition prohibiting the studio from taking your money before the game's release date.
So, if you want to take full advantage of the Beta of COD MW2, this solution is ideal, especially if you play on a PlayStation console, since Sony still has an exclusive partnership with Activision.

For the moment, all we know officially is that the game will have a Beta phase at the end of the summer and that players who have pre-ordered the title will be able to play it in preview.
