The immense expanses of the Valandis continent provide the setting for Chained Echoes. We follow a group of heroes as they traverse these territories in an effort to put a stop to the conflict between the continent's three kingdoms. Their voyage will take them through a variety of settings, including buried cities and exotic archipelagos, all rendered in highly attractive pixel art. a game that has elements of classic RPGs like Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI.
The game mixes science fiction and fantasy. So it's no surprise to see dragons rub shoulders with mechs in this 16-bit aesthetic world. Dynamic turn-based battles will follow on forty hours of play announced. No surprise encounters since each enemy is visible even out of combat.
