Tunic: the Zelda-like that conquered the press makes a surprise arrival in the Game Pass

This is the good indie surprise of this beginning of the year. After long years of development, first alone then accompanied by some reinforcements, Andrew Shouldice has finally released his baby: Tunic .

A production available since March 16, 2022 on PC, Xbox Series X and Xbox One, which created a double surprise. The game is available on the Xbox Game Pass and it has completely won over the press.

Tunic, the new indie sensation, available on Game Pass

Little last minute surprise for Game Pass PC and Xbox. While we thought that Microsoft had revealed the entire program for the month of March of its subscription service, now a small independent nugget invites itself into its service: Tunic . Behind its Zelda-like airs and its cute face hides in reality a game that is more demanding than it seems with inspirations drawn directly from FromSoftware games. Add to that gripping mysteries and you have the latest crush from the press.

Gamekult salutes for example the surprising side of Tunic and its twisted puzzles with a nice 8/10. A point particularly appreciated by our JV colleagues who gave it a 17/20. Same story at IGN , which also underlines its charming old-school side hiding a real challenge, while Gamespot was seduced by “  its fantastic sense of exploration  ”. Tunic collects a 9 from the two American media. Returns that echo the rest of the world publications and allow Tunic to become the sixth highest rated game of the year on Open Critic with a score of 86 and the sixth best PC release of 2022 onMetaCritic (87/100).
